Crema's Take

Red Bicycle Coffee is a beloved Nashville neighborhood gem where seasonal cold foam creations and an espresso-focused menu steal the show, paired with generous breakfast plates and pastries (their cinnamon rolls are particularly legendary). The cozy, dog-friendly space strikes that perfect balance between a serious coffee destination and a welcoming gathering spot where the owner and staff actually know your name and care about your experience. Whether you're stopping in for a honey lavender latte, a Cuban coffee, or just a quiet moment with locals and their pups, this place feels less like a transaction and more like coming home.

This is our favorite coffee shop in Nashville!! They always have the most fantastic seasonal specials and cold foams. The food is amazing too, always hot and big portions. We take our pups with us here for pup cups after walks sometimes too :)

First let's start with the good stuff. My honey lavender latte was 🤩 AMAZING. Truly great coffee and flavor. Service was great. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food however was quite disappointing. I ordered the Florentine scramble and it was less than desirable. The eggs were overcooked but it was served almost cold. This photo was taken after sitting in front of me for 5 minutes and a few bites and you can see it wasn't even warm enough to melt most of the cheese. The mushrooms were clearly from a can and were still cold. I wasn't expecting hand picked fresh mushrooms from the garden, but a little more effort and care could have been taken to at least cook them a bit more so they weren't could and seemed like they were dumped onto the plate after the eggs were already overcooked and done on the plate for 5 minutes before they were added and some cheese sprinkled on top of the cold eggs and mushrooms on the way out of the kitchen to me. I am just visiting so probably won't ever be back. My advice... If you're here for the coffee, don't hesitate. It's great. If you were coming for the food, you may want to reconsider.

Stopped by on our trip down south from Michigan, glad we stopped over for breakfast. The host /owner was super sweet and very helpful. Strongly recommend Cuban coffee and field of green savory crepe. I ordered wake up scrambler without crepe and that was good too. Glad they offered impossible meat choice for vegetarian and halal / kosher friendly crowds.
