Crema's Take

Komeya No Bento is a charming, Instagram-worthy spot that takes its matcha seriously—reviewers rave about the quality of their matcha drinks, which are clearly the star attraction despite the small, often-chaotic space. The bento boxes look absolutely beautiful and are worth trying, though the flavors can be hit-or-miss, and you might want to order ahead since the tiny shop gets packed and the team can get overwhelmed during rushes. It's a bit pricey and the wait can be intense, but there's something special about grabbing a perfectly crafted matcha drink and heading to a nearby park to enjoy it.

kinda expensive, but super pretty and aesthetic. pretty small sitting area, but that’s okay it was nice to go to a nearby park and eat outside. mango matcha was pretty milky, a little too much cream with minimal matcha flavor. bentos were suuuuper good! i loved the little sides that came with. would’ve liked a little more salmon, but the duck breast was SO juicy and flavorful.

Very busy but we ordered online. Worth the wait and LOVED the bento boxes. Matcha was def a plus Might need some help with line filtering or keeping the peace, seemed chaotic but perhaps that’s just the weekend matcha rush

The bento boxes were worth trying, but I wouldn’t come back for them. Aside from looking appealing, the flavors didn’t really stand out. That said, their matcha is a different story. I’ve gone back many times just for it. I’ve tried the strawberry, mango, red bean, and mochi matcha, along with the regular matcha latte, and they hit the spot every time. Easy 10/10 for the matcha drinks.

Wow this place is crowded and understaffed. The workers try their best but the place is just too small and too busy. I ordered online to not have to wait so long, but you still need to wait as the organization for ready orders are not so great. Yes, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the matcha pretty good but don’t think it’s worth another visit due to the hassle or wait. It’s definitely a to-go type of place since there is no indoor seating also, or if there is it’s hidden and full by people standing and waiting.

Wait time is crazy, prices are high, but the presentation is always great and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried from this place. I’ve found so far that the food has been a bit too cold, but it’s always beautifully presented and tastes great. The corn if you’re lucky enough to get it might be my favorite part. The strawberry matcha is a dessert in itself, and I recommend adding the mochi. Best sweet matcha anything I’ve gotten before
