Crema's Take

Bohemeo's is an East End gem that marries serious espresso craftsmanship with genuine bohemian spirit, complete with a bike-friendly vibe and weekend energy that keeps the neighborhood coming back. Their legendary Fish Taco Fridays and fresh whole wheat tortillas pair perfectly with their excellent shots, while the backyard patio and small stage create an ideal gathering spot whether you're cycling in for a morning ride or hosting a celebration. It's the kind of place that feels like it's always got something interesting happening, where the coffee is as carefully made as the community is carefully cultivated.

Great coffee. Great location from UH for a relaxed and cozy lunch. Fish Taco Friday is a win year round or during Lent. Do you even ride, Bruh? Start your morning Sunday ride from here. Alright, look. I don't know who was hatin' on the nachos but, you're out of your mind. If you're a greasy, soggy, piled a mile high with cholesterol and fat these ain't for you. Every chip was crisp. Every vegetable was hand cut and fresh with the right amount of snap. The salsa is a nice compliment to the spice of the Serrano peppers and the savory chicken. Add black beans to the chicken nachos if you are really hungry or a couple of shrimp or fish tacos.

Very cool vibes. It's a place that beats to their own drum. Seems like they always have something going on during the weekends. I've ordered their fish 🌮's which are good and have had their delicious blueberry muffins, the best. Their coffee is exceptional. Have already been back a few times. Oh, they also have wine and beer selection, too. Very relaxing. I've started following them to see what entertainment they host. My reading is really a 4.5 & that's just bc I thought the tacos were slightly bland but that's really a preference thing. If you're in the area five this place a looksie, it'll be worth your time, Imo.

Outstanding! This is a casual neighborhood coffee/bar/cafe. The espresso is excellent. The Baja Fish Tacos are freshly made and delicious on the whole wheat tortillas. You can sit inside or outside on the patio or in the garden area. I sat in the covered patio with cooling fans for a pleasant afternoon lunch. The name is perfect. The place is truly Bohemian! I have to come back in the evening when the bands play. Great for coffee or a beer. Update: this place is consistently great. I have watched several musicians play in the evenings. It is just a fine place to hang out.

As the name would suggest, Bohemeo's is a coffee shop with a Bohemian vibe, located far into the East End. The venue has an indoor area with with a small stage at the back and bicycles on the walls, an adjacent covered porch area, a courtyard with fountain, and a covered pavilion which also contains a stage. Seating is pretty ample with a decent amount of indoor and outdoor options. Based on the notices on the walls, it also seems live music is a regular occurrence on said stages. The place offers a standard if not expansive coffee menu (not a lot of more unique options like flat white or matcha) with beans from local roaster Cruiser Coffee as well as draft and bottled beer, wine, and a pretty extensive food menu of appetizers, cookies, tacos, quesadillas, salads, and sandwiches. They also offer food specials, and when I visited, it was "Fish Taco Friday". On this occasion, I was just there to get some work done and so only had the drip coffee, which was of a good smoothness and richness. The staff was very friendly, and there was a small crowd of people both indoors and outdoors. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because, while I do like the decor and vibe, it didn't feel quite as cozy as I would have preferred for a coffee shop in which to work. Regardless, yet another good addition to the good coffee shops in the East End.

I hosted my school’s holiday party here the last two school years since it’s just down the street. We have not been dissatisfied! They have the perfect backyard patio area for a small-medium group. We brought our own karaoke machine and speaker and the staff at Bohemeo’s kept the appetizers coming as ordered! Excellent place and even better service from the staff!
