Crema's Take
“This Artesia gem has earned serious loyalty by nailing the fundamentals year after year, with standout lattes (the Spanish latte is a genuine crowd-pleaser) and thoughtful espresso work that keeps regulars coming back. The vibe here is unpretentious but intentional—they've built real community through quality coffee and care, without relying on trendy aesthetics or gimmicks. If you're looking for a spot where the flat whites are excellent, the poured drinks are creative, and you'll actually want to linger over your cup, this is exactly the kind of neighborhood coffee shop that rewards discovery.”

I'm always on the lookout for a really good coffee so today Google brought me here. I ordered a hot Spanish latte and my cousin ordered an iced peanut butter cream top latte and it did not disappoint. We were both pleasantly surprised and satisfied with what we ordered. Parking lot is really small but you can find street parking for those with bigger vehicles.
I stopped by Coffee Code in Norwalk and ordered a classic hot latte, and wow — it really lived up to their motto: Coffee. Community. Quality. The moment I walked in, I could feel the care they put into everything. The aroma of freshly roasted beans filled the air, and the space felt inviting — perfect for a quick catch-up or getting some work done with friends and laughter in the background, just like they promise. I went with a simple hot latte made from their signature Fair Lady blend (that beautiful mix of South American, Central American, and East African beans). It had this rich, heavy body with lovely notes of dried fruit, almond, and caramel — exactly as described. The espresso was pulled perfectly, the milk was steamed silky smooth, and the balance was spot on. Not too bitter, not too milky… just bold, flavorful, and comforting on a cool day. You can really taste the quality in every sip — they clearly monitor each batch carefully to bring out the best in the beans. The baristas were super friendly too, and it felt like they genuinely wanted to inspire and educate, living up to that “Community” vibe William mentioned. If you’re in the Norwalk area and love coffee that’s more than just ordinary, definitely come here. Every cup really does feel like a little celebration of flavor and connection. Will be back soon!
A genuinely good cafe! In an area flooded with new spots, Coffee Code stands out by keeping its quality high year after year. Highly recommend their flat white and any of their lattes.
Coffee Code is a fantastic spot in Norwalk that proves you don't need fancy decor to serve up some memorable items. Giving this spot 5 out of 5 stars because while the overall execution is "okay for what it was," a few of the unique offerings make it absolutely worth the trip. Let's address the practicalities first: the vibes of the place are truly none. The interior is quite plain and functional, so this is not your destination for a cozy, lingering afternoon study session. Secondly, parking is nonexistent, but that is the unfortunate reality of this specific area in Norwalk, so temper your expectations on that front. Now, for the goods! I sampled a few items, starting with the drinks. The Peanut Butter Iced Latte was a definite standout—a creamy, nutty twist that you don't find everywhere. The Peppermint Mocha was also a solid choice, perfectly acceptable and a nice seasonal treat. Overall, the coffee is well-prepared and okay for what it was, hitting the spot without being revolutionary. The real stars, however, are the baked goods. The Coffee Cake was moist and satisfying, but the true highlight of the entire menu is the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Bread. This savory, slightly spicy, and wonderfully cheesy bread is a must-try item that perfectly complements the coffee. The verdict: While the atmosphere is plain and the logistics of getting there are challenging, the inventive menu and solid coffee make this a local treasure. I highly recommend you try this place for yourself and definitely don't leave without a slice of that Jalapeño Cream Cheese Bread.
Great Spanish latte and chai latte. Loved it. Also chocolate croissant and cheese jalapeno bread was great too. There’s are outdoor seatings too. We asked if it had no meat, the lady said no meat but when we started eating We came across bacon while having it. Quite disappointed. If they could provide more description of the bread details and what it’s made off may be would be best for us to choose too.
