Crema's Take

Blue 42's Brewing Barn has a charming setup in a converted general store with local pastries and homemade fudge, but the 3.5-star rating reflects real operational issues: understaffing is a recurring complaint (one person handling multiple counters), service gaps are common, and basic details like pricing and bathroom access aren't always reliable. If you're dropping by with low expectations and appreciate cozy atmosphere over consistency, it could work; otherwise, you're likely to leave frustrated.

Only 1 person working in the entire place, trying to handle the food counter, fudge counter and bar. No prices marked. Bathroom locked. Was never waited on and won't be back. Plenty of parking though! Probably always will be.

This is a very new business, with long family ties and standing close by. It will certainly be a success. Beer, sodas, coffee, baked goods from local bakeries, and homemade fudge are just a few of the offerings. The do sell huge loaves of sourdough bread, as well.
