Crema's Take
“Mourning Cloak is a beloved neighborhood bakery in Portland where a seasonal, intentional approach to coffee and pastries creates a real gathering space. The standout here is their scratch-made biscuits—they anchor an excellent breakfast sandwich that keeps people coming back—paired with thoughtful specialty drinks and a genuinely warm atmosphere that feels equally welcoming whether you're lingering solo or meeting a friend.”

Perfect little spot with big time flavors.
Amazing biscuit breakfast sandwich! And the grain bowl for lunch was delicious and fresh. Love the vibe and the seasonal approach. Will definitely be going back!
Cute new bakery in Portland! Had the cinnamon roll which was delicious! Very friendly staff: I look forward to visiting again.
Excellent breakfast sandwich. Great and friendly service. This is going to be a gem of portland.
Food and coffee were poor quality. Biscuit was undercooked and eggs were cold in breakfast sandwich. Looks good on instagram, but fails to deliver at all. There are at least ten better options in town, save your money!
