Living in Georgetown has its perks… most notably being home to what’s often called “the most beautiful town square in Texas”. Just off that iconic square is one of the loveliest little cafés around: Pan Tostado Cafe. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with charming, Mexican-inspired décor and a menu that blends unique food and drink offerings with the familiar comforts you’d expect from a great coffee shop. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or eager to try something a little different, there’s truly something for everyone. The crepes and pan dulce are YUM!! The staff is wonderful. They are warm, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they serve. They’re always happy to recommend their favorites if you’re having trouble deciding, which only adds to the experience. Weekends are understandably busier than weekdays, so be prepared for a short wait… just as you would at any popular spot. My tip? Pop next door to Decor with Amor while you wait. The shop is filled with beautiful, artisanal treasures, from jewelry and artwork to kitchen wares, and is absolutely worth browsing. Pan Tostado Cafe is a gem and a perfect example of why Georgetown living is so special!

We stopped by Pan Tostado to grab a quick breakfast! The seasonal tiramisu cold brew was delicious as well as the dulce de leche latte! The coffee is flavorful and not watered down by adding milk. We were impressed! We also go the breakfast tacos. Yes, they are 6.00 a piece, but the tortilla is filled! The tortilla tastes homemade and the salsa is really fresh and served warm! I was very impressed and the taco was delicious!

A new breakfast spot in Georgetown with authentic crepes, breakfast tacos, and chilaquiles? Yes, please! Cute, small shop near the Square serving up delicious crepes, pastries, and hot breakfast items. The Nutella and fruit crepe was absolutely amazing and the breakfast taco was delightfully filled with delicious eggs, potatoes, and bacon - all in a fresh warm tortilla. Seating is limited inside but they do have patio seating outside if the weather is nice. New breakfast spots are always welcome in this area. I really appreciated their service, unique menu, and delicious breakfast. Definitely one to check out if you’re visiting the Square.

I found this shop on TikTok and was drawn to their coffee flight. I’m a sucker for coffee flights. They have lots of different flavors you don’t always see at coffee shops. Plus they have one of a kind cold foams. I got the Pan Tostado flight which is their Dulce de Leche, Horchata, Pistachio, and Horchata Matcha. Pistachio was my favorite - nutty and delicious. The Dulce de leche was the sweetest. They also have a seasonal flight, but it was mostly pumpkin flavors, which I don’t typically like. The flight is $25. I also got the Cowboy Toast with scrambled eggs instead of over easy and two breakfast tacos. The tacos are rather large. Ended up only eating one. The toast had cotija cheese and chipotle crema which I felt really complimented it. They have a shop connected which has some decor and jewelry and various things for the home. Great outdoor patio. Came on a Monday during the day and wasn’t super busy. Plenty of spots to sit inside and out. I didn’t notice many outlets, but I wasn’t looking for them. They also have a variety of homemade pastries and they make crepes, both sweet and savory! The baristas were kind and explained everything. It seemed like they enjoy working there, which is a plus in my eyes. Worth the 45 minute drive if you enjoy fun flavors and Mexican brunch options!

The food was excellent, and the fall-flavored coffee flights were absolutely amazing! We ordered the chilaquiles and breakfast tacos—both were fresh and full of flavor. The little boutique attached to the café was so pretty and added to the cozy, welcoming vibe. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
