Crema's Take
“At Dean Street Coffee Roastery & Retail, Jessica and Bella have built a genuine neighborhood gem where the baristas actually remember how you take your coffee and greet you with the kind of warmth that makes your day better. They roast their own beans in-house and craft both classic espresso drinks and creative specialty beverages with the same care they put into fresh smoothies made with actual fruit, making it an easy answer to anyone tired of soulless chain coffee. It's the kind of place where locals actively choose to support instead of bigger names, and honestly, once you taste how consistently excellent and fresh their coffee is, you'll understand why.”

Jessica and Bella makes the best coffee! I love seeing their beautiful kind faces. Both of them make my day! My coffee is constantly good and exactly what I want. They know how I like it. They are the best baristas around!
The coffee here was so good! It costs a pretty penny but everything seemed very fresh and natural and you can see them make the smoothies all with fresh fruit. Everything was really tasty and they had a wide selection of specialty coffees to choose from. They also had a little gift shop area with Jellycat, Rifle Paper co., and luminary hotel merchandise. There was also plenty of seating to enjoy your coffee/breakfast.
Staying at the luminary, it was very happy to see that the Inn Hotel coffee shop with anything except a Starbucks. They offer a wide array of coffee options that they roast it helps, I particularly like the cold brew. Or if enjoyed her almond milk latte. I have a small selection of pastries, as well as bagels and sandwiches. And, if you’re in the mood they do have some gifts on offer. Quick, easy, friendly.
I thought I would give a local restaurant my patronage instead of Starbucks, and I am so glad I did. This place is just as close to my work and is far superior. I won't be going back to the chain coffee shop. The inside was industrial and cute. There are tons of comfy places to sit. I looked at the merchandise, and there was a good selection of treats and other items. I didn't get any baked goods, but they looked delicious. I got an oat milk latte, and it was so yummy. Really showed me how good my morning coffee is supposed to be! The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is there needs to be better signage from the street. I passed the shop twice because it's hard to see it from the road. I am really looking forward to going back and getting an amazing coffee.
I always have an amazing experience here! The coffee never disappoints, I enjoyed a large, coco mocha latte! It was so rich creamy; yet strong and refreshing. I added oat milk which totaled about $5.21, very reasonable! The sweet cashier warmed my banana bread it was delicious, paired quite well with the coffee. The bread was only $2.50. These treats put a huge smile on my face! I enjoyed the surroundings as well… if you’re looking to relax while sipping your coffee and benefit from the calm atmosphere, this is your place! Very quiet and relaxing, the people are respectful of your privacy as well.
