Crema's Take

Velodrome Coffee Company is a destination for serious coffee lovers in Marquette, with knowledgeable baristas who excel at both espresso and pour over techniques, earning nearly perfect ratings from customers who keep coming back for their expertly crafted seasonal drinks. The converted industrial space with exposed brick creates an inviting atmosphere that's equally suited for lingering over a single cup or settling in for hours of remote work, though the premium pricing reflects their commitment to quality. Monthly coffee tastings and tours on the first Friday add a community-driven element that extends beyond the cup, while their on-site retail selection lets you bring their beans home.

This is a great coffeeshop with well made hot drinks and a perfect atmosphere for remote work. It’s just a shame they don’t have any vegan food offerings, I would come here a lot more often!

Such a cool spot! The coffee was incredible, I had one of their Fall specialty drinks and it was so delicious! They also have fun merch and you can buy bags of their coffee there. We're from the mitten but next time we're in the UP we'll be back for sure!

I've tried almost every form of coffee here. Amazing coffee even for the price! Very pricey, but everything is going up in price so it's understandable. It's a great atmosphere, I can sit for hours reading with my coffee.

Based on price alone this coffee shop is too expensive. A 12 oz cappuccino was $8. Later the same day we were in Marquette and a restaurant had an Irish coffee (Jameson, baileys, coffee and whipped cream) for $8.

Cool atmosphere, we liked the exposed look of the old building. Barista was kind, coffee is flavorful. They host a tour and tasting first Friday of every month, I believe it was 9-10a. Prices are average, we had a 9-spice latte, which was similar to a chai latte, and an iced brown sugar latte, which my husband approved of. Would stop again.
