Banh Me & U

Banh Me & U was has such a cutesy atmosphere. It would be a great place to take a date of to gather with friends. The staff was very patient, friendly and happy to describe the menu offerings. I believe I purchased the A7 which is Bánh Mì Tôm. It has pan-fried shrimp and was very flavorful. I also purchased the C5 which is pork and shrimp egg rolls and let me tell you these egg rolls were delicious. Crispy, yet light on the outside, which is rare. In my recent experience, many places make eggrolls that are super greasy. Not here. They were perfection. The mango fruit tea with mango jelly was a great complement to the meal.

This place does it all—and does it well. The pho had a rich, aromatic broth, the matcha was high quality and smooth, and the Korean corn dogs were perfectly fried with that satisfying cheese pull. Great portions, fair prices, and friendly service. A must-visit spot!

Don't quite remember what sandwich we let the worker pick but one was pork and the other was chicken and both were on the spot. Got spring shrimp rolls and they were on point with the sauce. One drink was Oloo or something like that and forgot what the fruit one was but both were great. Afterwards we got the marcons and some cake and both were to die for. Great spot staff is very friendly and helpful. Will make sure next time I get all the information.

This is our 2nd time, we came to eat here. So delicious food along with all pastries and really amazing teas. A really clean reaturant with good ambience. We tried A2 and B4 from the menu plus kiwi-Macha tea and Rose Oolong tea. It was soo delicious.

I rarely write restaurant reviews, but Bánh Mì & You is a true gem for Albuquerque and absolutely deserves recognition. I’ve visited this location eight times now, and every single visit has been exceptional. Consistency at this level is rare. As a professional chef with 17 years in the industry, including over seven years working closely with Vietnamese cuisine, I pay close attention to balance, technique, and execution—and this place delivers on all fronts. The food is authentic and refined, clearly reflecting the care, discipline, and respect put into each dish. Flavors are clean, intentional, and thoughtfully composed, without ever feeling overworked. I’m especially excited to see that they’ve recently added phở to the menu. While I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, based on their track record, I have no doubt it will be executed with the same attention to detail and quality that defines everything else they do. Bánh Mì & You stands out not just as a great Vietnamese spot, but as a restaurant that elevates the local food scene. Albuquerque is fortunate to have it.
