Cafe @ Pikes Peak
14105 Pikes Peak Hwy, Manitou Springs, CO
Crema's Take
“This mountain-top café serves as a perfect pit stop after summiting Pikes Peak, offering freshly made donuts and traditional coffee at 14,115 feet elevation—an experience that's more about the stunning views and the novelty of a warm pastry at altitude than coffee craft. Reviews are mixed on the pastries themselves, though the hot chocolate earns consistent praise and the setting more than compensates for any inconsistencies in the baked goods. It's the kind of place where you're really paying for the moment and the view rather than expecting specialty-grade coffee.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A quick-grab spot, outdoor seating. Pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

The hot chocolate was really good. The powdered donuts were good and the black coffee was average.
Got cinnamon donuts at 9a and they were warm but pretty dry but tasty. Amazing views, so no biggy the donuts weren't the bomb.
The cafe at Pikes Peak offers stunning views and a nice place to relax after taking in the scenery. However, I wouldn’t recommend the plain doughnuts. They were cold, hard, and completely flavorless, definitely not what I expected.
10 out 10 some of the best donuts
I was blown away by the fact that you can buy donuts on a mountain, especially at an altitude of 14,115 feet. They were freshly made, served hot, and tasted quite good. Currently, they offer plain and cinnamon flavours.
