Consistently excellent coffee. Even their drip coffee is always beautifully extracted, better than the pour over at many shops. Great selection on the retail shelf as well, including their in house roaster Janu. The only shop in town that offers a rotation of specialty coffee roasters from across the country and the world. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is lovely.
My husband and I love LV—it’s our favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh. They always have a beautiful selection of coffees to choose from and their baristas are knowledgeable. Our favorites are the matcha tonic, black sesame latte, and of course the shop’s own coffee brand, Janu. I’ve spoken with the shop owner many times and she’s always kind and happy to answer questions about the menu. Highly recommend ❤️
My friend and I were immediately made to feel like we were accosting our barista with any questions we had. She was very curt with us. My friend asked for sugar and the barista pretentiously gave her a single pack of sugar on a saucer. I asked the barista if LV served Duck Rabbit coffee and she acted like I was asking about ancient hieroglyphics. Apart from that I enjoyed the coffee and the ambience. I would easily give this place 4 stars if we had been served by almost anyone else, haha.
Excellent coffee/ tea spot. The staff is nice and its super cozy, sometimes it gets busy but when I’ve gone it’s been nice and empty. The black sesame latte is similar to a matcha latte. Amazing drink I haven’t seen anywhere else. Doesn’t have any caffeine though so I got a side espresso as well.
The cafe has a really chill and spacious vibe, definitely a comfortable place to sit and relax. I ordered the black sesame latte. The cup and presentation looked nice, but the drink itself was just okay. For $6 and such a small size, I felt it was a little overpriced.
