Crema's Take
“Nestled in Denver, this traditional tea room shines brightest during its beloved afternoon tea service, where guests return year after year for expertly curated tea selections, fresh scones, and elegant finger sandwiches paired with a graceful piano accompaniment. The experience feels genuinely special—warm staff members create a welcoming atmosphere perfect for families or quiet afternoons, though the quality can be inconsistent depending on who's behind the counter.”

The hostess with the gray hair was incredibly rude. It’s funny how someone’s attitude and demeanor Can sit so deep. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in my life and rolling your eyes at someone for asking for a receipt is wild. I cannot believe a place so classy has such a rude front stand. I’ve spent thousands of dollars here and will never do so again. period.
This was a fun experience. Definitely recommend just getting the classic tea and food. We opted to get two classics and two of the seafood meals and the seafood wasn’t much. You can also get at least one extra serving of tea sandwiches so no need to do more than the classic. Would have been nice to get more details at the beginning like the fact that you can get extra tea sandwiches, etc. the scones were definitely the best!! Fun time but maybe a bit over priced.
Hands down my favorite thing to do in Denver! Afternoon tea at the brown palace! I’ve been going for YEARS. The staff is so kind and friendly. Love the selection of teas, ambiance, piano man and seconds on sandwiches. Favorite place ever.
We come here at least once a year! The staff always very friendly and super kid friendly high recommended Hiwat Z she is absolutely wonderful and extremely kind, plus she does a very professional job and very well knowledgeable! The pastry absolutely tasteful, and the tea was just perfect, we recommend made the reservations with time and if possible stay at the hotel because the whole experience it’s perfect !
Wonderful tea experience. Scones, desserts, and finger sandwiches were all great. We had the experience with champagne and their signature truffle. Both were excellent. The teas we had were palace grey and pineapple passion. So good, we bought tins to take home. Note though that the gift shop is open from 6am to 1pm.
