Crema's Take
“This independent Laguna Beach spot earned serious fans for its standout strawberry matcha and thoughtfully crafted coffee, served in glassware if you're staying—a small detail that reflects their commitment to cutting down on plastic waste. The space itself is as much a draw as the drinks, with abundant cozy seating indoors and out plus a curated selection of pottery and specialty cards that make lingering feel intentional rather than rushed. While it tends to get crowded and the food menu is limited, the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff make it the kind of place people find themselves returning to, whether it's right after yoga or years later.”

Probably the best strawberry matcha I have ever had. The coffee is alright. Pretty big seating selection indoor and outdoor but normally crowded. They have cute pottery and speciality cards selection as well.
The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, making it a nice spot to unwind after a morning workout. Their coffee is expertly brewed, with rich flavors that stand out. Very limited food menu, but delicious pastries. Overall, a solid place for coffee lovers!
I used to come here when this place opened. It’s been years since I’ve been but I just went right now to get a coffee. The people working were friendly but the reason why I am giving 2 stars is lack of consistency. I went to get coffee and what they gave me was a lukewarm cup of coffee. Unacceptable. Also when I asked about the different types, they didn’t know … They should know you work at a coffee place. After they told me they had columbia, ethiopian, and kenya. I asked for what they recommend and that I like a fruit forward acid coffee. They should have told me either the kenya or ethiopian but they had no clue. I said, probably one of those but which do you recommend and they said honestly I have no clue. They asked another girl and she said the most fruity was the columbian. I was surprised and said okay, I’ll take that then. (Columbians are more balanced and not fruity or acidic unless naturally processed or anaerobic fermented, so I thought maybe it was although not as common). The columbian was a traditional columbian and the worst of it was the temperature. I waited 20+ minute for a horrible recommendation and lukewarm coffee. I think this place has become overrated. Unless Kit Coffee comps me a free coffee, they lost me as a customer and I won’t be recommending it as a place to go.
This place is so cute! 🌿 I came by after yoga and loved that they don’t waste plastic — if you’re staying, they serve your drink in a nice glass. I didn’t try the food this time, but next visit I’m definitely getting the avocado garden toast. 🥑 The Passion Jasmine Iced Tea was refreshing! . ✨
Solid coffee shop in the Newport area. We got the bacon breakfast burrito and a vanilla latte. The latte was slightly too milky for my taste but I still enjoyed it. The burrito was excellent and one of the better breakfast burritos I have ever had. The tortilla was nice and crispy and the food didn’t fall out. The different components of the burrito (especially rice and bacon) had a nice texture when eating it. Although the coffee was just ok, the burrito and ambiance were good enough to make me want to come back.
