The owner is unfriendly, she saw me, took me to a table and then kept passing by me without even offering a menu. I waited a while and then I felt very uncomfortable to say the least. She was waiting on everyone around me so I left.
Penelope's is a hidden gem nestled in LaCanada. Food was delicious, services were nice. I felt I am in a little European place with a small place with quality.. mostly locals come here. Lovely place. I will definitely go there again.

Quaint lunch place in reimagined house. The decor is so cute. Perfect place for a friend's date or a date/date. Service was quick and very good. Menu is mainly soup, salad & sandwiches. Tasty, a little bland, but still good & fresh.
OMG! The best waffles ever! I also took coffee latte and it was amazing! So cute patio outside with a little fountain and a few beautiful fish inside! Very quiet, so very comfortable for business breakfast or lunch! Highly recommend!
