Hill Donut Co & Brunch House - Wilmington, Delaware

The atmosphere is very nice. There was a lot of parking. I actually seen this place online so I came to her house to try it. We got there. It was plenty of parking. The seating was very fast. The service was not as great. I would give the service probably a 3 out of 10 I had to send my Food back at least twice to say that I no longer wanted it at all. I asked for over easy eggs, and I got fried eggs. The potatoes was fry very hard was unable to eat maybe they have new owners not very sure. The pancakes were amazing. I give them a 10 out of 10. This place is over rated on TikTok, need to hire more people,that’s a must !!!!!

Two friends and myself came to this restaurant for a Brunch Birthday Celebration- based on Tik Tok exposure. I had a great experience, from the moment I sat down, to our waiter who was attentive, kind and made us feel welcomed. I believe his name was Francis (my apologies if that isn't correct but it did start with an "F"). He surprised me with a complimentary doughnut for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. We had mimosas - Strawberry and Mango, both well made. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. *Crab cakes/Shrimp and grits - Fresh, flavorful and served hot. *Maple Bacon donut - Thicker than usual and kind of dry.

These a lot of hype on social media about this restaurant, all I can say is come out and experience it for yourself. To Jasmine, Sarah., thank you for your candid service and conversation. To the Cook T the brisket hash was delicious. The only downside was the potatoes that came with my wife’s order it had to much salt. Jasmine save it by getting my wife a side order of brisket hash.

We got the Hill Breakfast one with pancakes and one with the French toast. The savory portion was my favorite but everything was delicious. There is so much food that I took half home and it was just as good reheated. I preferred the French toast as the pancakes were a bit dry but nothing the cream cheese frosting and syrup couldn’t fix. The donuts are not made with traditional dough as they are more like brioche rolls. Overall I would recommend and go back. Best to come early as the food takes a while to make so you don’t want to also compete with a crowd
