16th Street Diner
3147 16th St, San Francisco, CA
Crema's Take
“Tucked just off Valencia, this cozy neighborhood gem serves up thoughtfully prepared breakfast and light fare in a genuinely warm, unhurried atmosphere where regulars keep coming back month after month. The kitchen shines with details like shakshuka in cast iron skillets and home-seasoned potatoes, while the service is the kind that notices when you need extra napkins before you ask, making it feel less like a transaction and more like being welcomed into someone's favorite spot.”

The 16th street Diner is fire! Worth every bit of 5 stars, and I'll tell you why! I was out slinging stuff around with Wally the Weasel ..we didn't break anything and nobody had to go to the hospital, but it was time to make our getaway, and we found ourselves right in front of the 16th Street Diner! Well, we went in, and we couldn't decide between a burgers or a sandwiches so I asked the person to surprise us..just make mine bigger! Man-O-Man were we surprised, the BurgerSandos were 5 ☆☆☆☆☆!
Really great atmosphere. Quiet and cozy. Loved my shakshuka. It came in a little iron skillet. Adorable!
Shwank lil diner right off of Valencia. Great food, music, service and atmosphere. I've eaten here now my 3rd time in the last month and I can't get enough. With few places in the city where you can get pancakes 🥞 this place is truly a jewel.
Wow! Was not expecting this place to blow us away, what a pleasant surprise! Super clean and cozy place with extremely friendly service (even immediately brought us extra napkins when the server noticed we got a little food on our shirt). Buffalo wings were crispy, perfectly seasoned and the meat was great quality. Blueberry Pancakes are some of the best we’ve had. It’s diner food but not the gross, greasy kind—but also comforting enough to hit that diner food craving. We will be back for sure, this place is definitely worth visiting again and again!
The breakfast was very good, the potatoes had bell peppers and onions in them giving them a great taste. The orange juice was fresh. If you are in the area give it a try for breakfast. PS the waiter was attentive and we didn’t have to wait for anything.
