Forum Coffee (Uptown Hoboken)
1400 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ
Crema's Take
“Forum Coffee's baristas Leslie, Sara, and Divya bring genuine warmth to every order, with Divya's strawberry matcha latte earning devoted regulars who swear by it, while their cold brew and iced lattes with almond milk showcase a solid espresso foundation. Just be prepared to call ahead or check their hours before visiting, as this Uptown Hoboken spot keeps a notoriously unpredictable schedule that's frustrated more than a few would-be customers.”

The working hours here seem completely random. This is the fifth time we’ve come and found it closed — today at 1:00 PM on a Sunday. If you’re going to close whenever you feel like it, at least update it on Google Maps so people don’t waste their time coming here.
Great customer service (they gave us syrups to try) and their Iced Lattes with Almond Nu Milk are really good. We’re happy to have found this place!
I strictly come here for Divya’s MATCHA LATTE. I swear by it. The best strawberry matcha latte made by her hits every time. def check them out!
Leslie and Sara absolutely made my day! They made the BEST coffee I’ve ever had, and their energy and customer service were on another level. They’re so friendly, super attentive, and you can tell they really care about making every drink perfect. This is officially my new go-to coffee spot — not just because the drinks are amazing, but because Leslie and Sara make the whole experience feel special. If you want great coffee and even better service, this is the place! 💛☕️✨
I was excited to try Uptown Forum Coffee in Hoboken because I’d heard great things about their cold brew — and to be fair, it was excellent. Unfortunately, the overall experience was soured by the lack of basic customer service. The staff didn’t greet me, no “hello” or “welcome,” no smiles — just long faces and one-word answers. As a new client who wasn’t familiar with the menu, I asked a few questions about their “clouds”, coffee options, and loyalty program, but it felt like I had to pull words out of them. Instead of feeling excited about discovering a new spot, I felt unwelcome and like I was inconveniencing them by asking simple questions 🤷🏼♀️ A smile and a bit of warmth would go a long way. The cold brew with pistachio syrup and pistachio cloud is in my opinion worth coming for, but the service made it hard to want to return.
