The Corner Brew

I would give this place 13 stars if I could. I travel for work and we always do a coffee break in the morning. I’ve tried coffee shops all over New York. This is literally by far the best place I’ve ever been in my life. I got the “Bee sippin’ a latte” and the “Loaded avocado BLT” and literally the best latte I’ve ever had, and the best BLT or wrap I’ve ever had. No they didn’t tell me to say this. I would have this combo every day if I could. I wish I lived here to have this all the time. I’ll never miss a trip to this place if I’m out in this neck of the woods. Also the service is great and the staff is funny and friendly. 11/10 experience. Corner Brew is ELITE.

I highly recommend this place, atmosphere, food, and services. Excellent all the way. I tried the special menu and drink, which are very creative, fresh, and delicious. Good try. Like Oasis in town, we are definitely go back.

I really want to love this place, as it a small local shop, but the service has been consistently mediocre. Both times I have gone, the staff has been rather rude to me. (No response to "good morning," no "how are you?"). Again, I want to support local coffee shops, but they've made it hard for me. This morning, there were three employees working. One was cooking who was excellent, seemingly keeping the ship afloat. She was the only one that cared about customer wait times, while the barrista who occasionally worked cash register was rather rude and quite slow. I had ordered a drip coffee-- black-- which ostensibly requires no preparation. At most coffee shops, this is poured for the customer in the moment. But my barrista told me that it would be "out shortly" and proceeded to make complex drinks for other customers while I waited. Finally, a more competent staff member came out, seeing me somewhat distressed with the wait time and asked what I had ordered. She proceeded to tell me that they had to brew coffee (which did come out quickly). In the afternoon, this would be more understandable but at "rush hour" to not have coffee ready is absolutely nuts. There was another staff member who could have been helpful with the morning rush, but she seemed to be restocking the shelves. In short, I would love to recommend this shop, but I really can't, which makes me sad.

I had a wedding at the Corner Brew and it was awesome! With the entire shop rented out, there is space for a small ceremony, buffet style dinner, and dancing up front. We did photos both inside and out. There’s even a cute deck out back with some trailing plants. Very cute space, highly recommend for events!
