Crema's Take
“This intimate Sicilian café in New York captures the warmth of the island itself, with baristas Nicolas, Giuseppe, and Vincenzo greeting you like family while they craft exceptional espresso drinks and cortados alongside pillowy bomboloni and crispy arancini that taste like they came straight from Palermo. The focus here is on authenticity and slowness—whether you're savoring a chocolate-filled croissant with your coffee or settling in with pasta dishes and street foods like pane e panelle that stir genuine emotion—making it feel less like a coffee shop and more like a brief escape to Sicily.”

I stopped in here earlier today I had a chocolate filled croissant which was excellent with the cortado!!. Looking forward to coming back to try some other stuff!!. Awesome experience!. With the Italian music playing in the background and two people conversing in Italian really did make me feel as if I was in Italy!!.
Absolutely delicious food. Rice balls were huge stuffed and crispy on the outside. Nutella bomboloni was the best dessert ever itbwas fluffy and the Nutella wasn't overly sweet the powdered sugar was just enough sweetness. Little ricotta bites are absolutely wonderful the inside was creamy outside flaky and perfect to have with coffee. 10 out of 10 must try. Absolutely wonderful service Nico is friendly funny and caring to his customers thanked us for coming in and felt so welcomed.
I finally was able to eat at Visit Sicily and I was so happy I did. The food was absolutely delicious and I felt as if I was in Sicily. Nicolas, Giuseppe and Vincenzo welcome you with smiles of gratitude. I felt as if they became family in a short time. The food is made from and with Sicilian love. I'll be back in April to eat more delicious food. Mille grazie i miei bellissimi paesani siciliani da Palermo. Viva la Sicilia bedda.
Stopped by this spot today and tried a bit of everything: the Anelletti al forno 🔥, the pasta was amazing, the arancini were insane, and the coffees were spectacular. Everything was honestly too good. Highly recommended 👌🇮🇹☕️.
I came here wanting to support a new local Sicilian place, but I left genuinely moved. I ordered pane e panelle and crocchè — foods that are deeply tied to Sicilian memory and street life — and I was honestly shocked. This was one of the best pane e panelle I’ve had in New York, and the only place in NYC where I’ve experienced it this authentically. It immediately brought me back to Sicily. Everything is made to order, and you can feel the intention behind it. The pasta is homemade, and the sauces come directly from the Calia family’s villa in Sicily — not as a story for marketing, but as something you can truly taste. The arancini were comforting, rich, and beautifully done. The espresso from Miscela d’Oro was the perfect ending, and the warm pistachio bomboloni were unforgettable — pure joy, the kind that makes you pause for a second. This place isn’t just food — it’s memory, family, and care on a plate. Thank you to the Calia family and Visit Sicily NYC for bringing a piece of Sicily to New York. I’ll be back — often.
