Crema's Take
“Nestled in Park City, this café captures that perfect alpine lodge feeling with its signature globe dining experience that transforms a meal into a memorable adventure. While reviews are mixed on consistency, the spot shines for cozy winter gatherings and anniversary moments, where attentive service and warming hot chocolate (when executed well) pair beautifully with their pastries and light fare. It's the kind of place where the novelty of the setting and genuine hospitality make lingering over coffee feel like the whole point.”

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Don’t let the first image deceive you as their hot chocolate is not only overpriced, but horrible tasting with an oily sheen that rises to the top and a weird gritty substance at the bottom. The food was so bland that even adding salt and pepper could do it justice. Not to mention the portion sizes were horribly small for the price of the items. Don’t even get me started on the service, it was nonexistent, except for when my server came to the table basically to try and get a tip. It’s funny because I heard them making snide comments when I went inside to use the restroom. I reserved a globe in advance and found it to be very lackluster for the $35 price tag. They couldn’t even keep the light bulbs working. The domes amplified outside noise making it difficult to have a conversation. Overall this was a horrible experience and I will never return.
For our anniversary we booked an alpenglobe. There was a little snow and it was lovely. It was warm and cozy. Romantic. The service was really good, the food delicious and still hot even being brought through the cold to us. We had the ribeye and the salmon. Both were delicious.
First of all, the globe experience is pretty cool. Yes, during the winter it can get pretty cold when they open the door to check on you or bring you your food. But it's very quaint and a fun atmosphere. The food, it's good. The lasagna, it's good. Not amazing, but good. The pizza needs about 2-3 more minutes cooking, and if you get the Margherita I suggest asking for more basil, but otherwise, good. The bruschetta, now I didn't have any myself, but my table ordered some, TWICE because apparently it was so good. We had fun, food is good, would go again. Oh, and the guys who were our servers? Freaking awesome. We're all Seattle sports fans, and one guy was a Broncos fan and another was a Seahawks fan, so we had a lot of fun chatting with them. Good guys and gals all around.
Eating inside the globe was a fun experience. The food was good and our waiter was very nice. Our globe lost power so it was a little chilly but the manager made it right with us. We will definitely be back.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Culinary Experience! We visited the restaurant on December 20th, and it was wonderful! The food was absolutely fantastic: the pizza perfect, the pasta full of flavor, the hot chocolate divine, and every dish carefully prepared. What makes this experience even more special is that you walk in and leave completely satisfied, creating a memorable family moment. You achieved exactly that — exceptional quality and flavor! We are already planning to return next year with the whole family. Congratulations on creating such a high-quality and unforgettable culinary experience!
