Dark Matter Coffee - The Mothership

Great selection of coffee and drinks. This time around I picked up the Marky Ramones Bowery Beat blend and had a cup of drip coffee to go. One of my favorite coffee roasters in the area. I recommend their A Love Supreme blend. I’ll be back soon for the Heroine and Nectar Gadget blends too.

So fun. Delicious. My girlfriend loves the original Chicago location, so I wanted to stop by. The baristas were both super nice and helpful in recommending beans for me, and the iced quad cappuccino was ACTUALLY that. And yummy. Surprisingly difficult to get a solid iced espresso drink in this city. Great mood in there. I’ll be back.

This coffee is delicious! I found this company through a collab with my favorite artist, Robin Eisenberg. I love to collect her art, so I jumped at the chance to order coffee with her designs on it. I've never ordered coffee online before this, and had no idea what to expect. I ordered the dark roast, espresso, and house blend. First and foremost, the coffee got here so fast, I was pleasantly surprised. And it smelled so good through the box, before even opening it. I would wear it as a perfume if I could. It is some of the best home drip coffee I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. Especially at this price range, $20 a bag for quality coffee is well worth it, with grocery store prices rising just under that for stuff that does not even come close. Needless to say, I will be ordering my coffee through this company from now on.

What a crazy cool coffee shop! Probably some of the best espresso ☕️ hands down. We’ve traveled around the world 🌍 and this place just does everything with flare, freshness and friendly smiles. If in Chicago definitely make the effort.
