Crema's Take

This charming Japanese bakery cafe is a hidden gem that draws devoted crowds for its inventive matcha drinks—particularly the banana creme matcha latte that's earned cult status—paired with impeccably fresh pastries and panini sandwiches that strike the perfect balance between indulgence and restraint. If you have never tried a banana creme matcha latte, this is the place!! I came here at the suggestion of a friend, enroute to another appointment. I got lucky with parking in the morning and waited in the line wasn't too bad, it's pretty fast. The display of mouth watering and cute baked treats. I got the banana latte at the recommendation of the cashier, and a wide array of baked goods. The folks at the counter were all helpful. My favorite was the chocolate filled bread. The package is so cute too! They also have some other products you can buy on the shelf if you like their adorable branding. Something I love about them is that they are so thoughtful in giving customers recommended handling and eating notes. See the picture I posted. Restroom? Don't remember. Parking? Yes; it was a bit challenging to find a spot but you ust need to keep driving around to find something.

Drove by here several times and see the long line so decided not to…til today, on Sunday bad 15mins before it closed. We make it in, and we’re the 3rd to last customer. Cute little shop with 2 sections; one for drinks and one for the bakery. Great vibe with both inside and outside seatings. Varies breads options but cute teddy bear designs. It’s goods and consistency for the quality throughout their baked goods. Is it great, there’s better places. Is it bad, no it just good and well make. You can see inside where they’re making their goodies. The drinks are quite tasty and not too sweet. The staff are wonderful, nice, helpful and friendly. The place is cute decor and clean and bright. Overall, not bad for the quality and the prices. Parking is okey, street pay or parking structure next door. But is it worth it for standing in line for it? Sure why not.

Food was amazing! Honestly anything you order will be amazing because it is fresh and not too sweet. Let me help you out: - get the kobo-ji cha latte - get one of the panini sandwiches (if you can’t decide then go for the japanini) - cookie salt & butter roll- just get a whole box of these- because you’ll want to share and be left with none You’re welcome! But seriously everything is so good- go on a rainy day so the line won’t be terribly long and service was great even on a crazy rainy day. The only the I wish they had was more seating ❤️❤️ cause I like to eat everything fresh! But seriously the drink was so good- the cold brew sea salt matcha was also 👍

Absolutely love this cafe, it's so cute and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The pastry were good and I loved their theme was on point for the holidays with their bread design. The matcha with banana cream was also good as well. Staff were nice and friendly and so very attentive! I do want to mention that there is a line when you get there but it moves pretty quick and you might have to ask for the cute box that they have!

We visited Okayama Kobo on a Sunday 1 hour before closing. Although it was busy, the line moved quickly and the bakery case was well stocked and fresh bread was still coming out from the ovens. We ordered a curry pan, chocolate emoji bun (dark chocolate and vanilla cream), banana creme matcha latte, and kobo-jicha latte (hojicha latte). Both of the breads were fresh, warm, and tasty. I really disliked her banana bread matcha latte - the banana foam had an artificial taste to it. However the kobo-jicha latte was good. I would stop by to the other breads, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
