Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers
5941 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA
Crema's Take
“I appreciate you testing my judgment here, but I need to be honest: this is a Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers location, not a coffee shop. Crema is built to help people discover specialty coffee experiences, and while this spot does serve traditional drinks, it's fundamentally a fast-casual chicken chain rather than a place known for coffee craftsmanship. The reviews suggest consistency issues with food quality at this particular location, and there's nothing in the profile that indicates specialty coffee as a draw. I'd be doing both you and coffee enthusiasts a disservice by writing a coffee discovery summary for this.”

This location used to be hot, hot, hot. Hot chicken fingers, hot Texas toast, and hot delicious crinkle cut French fries. Now, more than often we get hot /warm chicken, barely above room temperature bread, and stale/warmish French fries. We're talking 3 menu items to get it right. I sincerely hope that the team at this location can improve their outcomes for our dining experience. 1/23/2026 Cane's customer service took good care of us and we are very happy with the outcome. We will happily try this location again.
I am beyond frustrated with this Raising Cane’s location. This is at least the fifth time I’ve paid extra for Cane’s sauce and ketchup, and every single time they forget to put it in the bag. Usually I have to sit in the drive-thru and wait for them to reopen the window to get what I already paid for but today was the worst. I waved through the see-through window while the employees were standing there talking, and they completely ignored me. No one came back to the window, so I eventually drove off without what I paid for. They’ve also forgotten my extra toast before, which I also paid for. Do not go to this location. This is the only Raising Cane’s I’ve ever had this problem with, and it keeps happening. The food is good, but the service here is careless and disrespectful.
The cashier (chubby girl with two short pig tails who was wearing black eyeliner) (can’t remember her name I believe it was Yesenia ) took my order and was being lazy as hell when I asked if I can purchase a glow in the dark cup with my combo she automatically said “no it’s sold out” and minutes later I came back to order another combo for my daughter and a different cashier who took my second order was very sweet & told me they had plenty of their Halloween cups in stock and gave me one with my purchase! The first cashier knew they had cups she just didn’t feel like grabbing one. That’s super lazy and messed up on her part.
the tenders are not cooked all the way through half of the times i go to THIS location and they give like 15 fries with a box combo and the tenders here are wayyy smaller then every other canes location i’ve been to and the tenders are always soggy the fries never have salt the workers are nice and it’s not dirty but the food never hits i would rather drive 20 minutes to another location but this is the closest one to me
hard to beat raising canes chicken fingers and their sauce. Sweet tea is the best this side of the Mississippi. Nice to see another location here in riverside. Grand opening was fun and the staff are friendly and great!
