Café Calidá

Fantastic space!! From the moment I walked it I felt safe and welcomed. Coffee is good and they have pastries that look delicious and pre-made breakfast sandwiches from Cafe Tola as well! Super spacious area so you can comfortably enjoy your breakfast and play games. They have a community signboard too with all the local happenings. Try it out!!

I’ve been going to this coffee shop since they opened their doors a few years ago. The service has always been phenomenal - not to mention everyone is always friendly and kind. As of recently I try to go every Friday, during my morning walk. The atmosphere is always very peaceful and welcoming. I highly recommend this coffee shop to any coffee lover. My go to is a cafe con leche ☺️

Visited Cafe Cálida today and you can feel the warmth that the owners have worked so hard to establish there. Walking in, the main counter area is SO bright with the natural sunlight. One of my favorite things about the shop is their community board. Most shops will have community boards with events that are more artsy- which is great. However, the posters that you see at Cafe Cálida are thought out- resources that help the community. Bottom line, amazing place. ❤️

Cafe Calida is a bright spot in the community with a welcoming environment for everyone. You are greeted warmly upon entry, and then given a great selection of drinks and pastries. I am able to get some work done in the spacious dine-in area, which felt like my living room at home. If you haven’t come to Cafe Calida, what are you waiting for?

Café Calidá is it! I stopped in for a custom Vanilla Caramel Café con Leche and it was absolutely on point—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The coffee alone is worth the visit, but the food? Next level. I had the Chorizo + Egg and Lechón empanadas, and they were nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, flavorful and satisfying on the inside. The space is warm and welcoming, with great attention to detail and community. I love that they’re spotlighting Guatemalan coffee growers and ethically sourced beans. It’s not just a café—it’s a space that blends culture, quality, and care. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a new favorite coffee spot. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
