Crema's Take

Jesse's Grind feels like the kind of neighborhood spot where baristas remember your usual order and the regulars genuinely consider it a second home. Beyond solid traditional espresso drinks like their lavender honey latte, they've built a welcoming vibe that balances quick service for coffee-and-dash visitors with plenty of cozy corners for lingering over their thoughtful selection of baked goods and light fare. It's the type of Malibu gem where the community-first energy is unmistakable—you can taste it in both the care they put into each cup and the way people keep coming back.

Fun selection of baked and savory goods. Nice people focused on getting things out quickly. Love supporting local businesses and this one is worth it.

Really love this spot and I'm so glad it exists! What a neighborhood gem. You can tell they love their community and they have a lot of regulars here. I love a coffee shop that feels like a home away from home. This is definitely the place. I got the iced oatchata. So good! Friendly service and great vibes. I'll be back for sure!

Im normally really happy with the service and how the drinks taste. But today I ordered my usual, the lavender honey latte with almond milk, and I asked them to make it with one decaf shot and half sweet. I only took one sip and it tasted even sweeter than the regular version and I couldn't drink it. Maybe it was just a fluke this time around, but yeah I couldn't enjoy my drink.

This was my first time visiting this cafe, as my friend who lives in Winnetka recommended it after hearing positive reviews. The coffee itself was great! Although, I had a hard time enjoying the turkey sandwich that I ordered. For 9 bucks, I feel as though the sandwich was lacking, especially as the avocado was not distributed evenly and ended up falling out after my first bite. Maybe next time, I’ll get the egg bagel. But overall vibe was nice and the employees were friendly.

I came in at 6:30, right when they opened. I got a medium-sized hot oat honey latte and avocado toast. The place and bathroom are clean, and the customer service is excellent. Next time I'm in the area, I want to try the iced or dirty horchata. Once a week, I stay at my boyfriend's place in Canoga Park. Before heading back to Westwood, I must pick up a coffee before getting on the freeway for the 40- 60-minute drive to work. I searched for the closest coffee place that wasn't Starbucks. I found Jesse's Grind on Google and loved the excellent reviews. I'm happy to support a local business.
