Crema's Take

Tucked into Hampden's iconic 36th Street, this punk rock-meets-comfort-food gem serves up genuinely exceptional handmade pies that locals can't stop raving about—the fruit varieties get particular praise for their fresh, vibrant flavors. The vibe is distinctly rockabilly and rebellious, drawing a devoted crowd who return again and again for an experience that feels both unique and perfectly executed in a city full of tried-and-true spots.

Lovely little spot with a punk rock aesthetic, sitting right in the middle of Hampden's 36th street "Avenue" Absolutely killer pies, I had the French Apple and was impressed with the freshness and the quality. The crust was perfectly crisp and had a lovely glaze, adding to the already magnificent texture of the fresh apples. Will be coming back again!

I am really sad to share this review because I was so looking forward to trying the pies. I ordered a Banana Cream pie for a special occasion. The Pie looked good from the outside, but had no banana flavor/pieces whatsoever. There weren't even banana slices layered on the bottom or top. Out of the 6 people that tried it, not one person tasted banana. I left several msgs for the owner and even stopped in the Hampden location. The owner left a quick msg saying there was plenty of banana in the pie. WRONG!!!! After several attempts to talk with him about it, I gave up. I would never order another pie from them or recommend them to anyone. Not only was the pie terrible, but the owner had no interest in making things right. I will say, the guy working at the front was very nice and apologetic for what happened. Sadly, he wasn't the owner!!!!!!!!

Genuinely my favorite spot in Baltimore. I have traveled and worked in every region of this country and have never found such a unique and perfectly executed idea. If someone told me there was a restaurant of just pies I'd say they are full of it. I am not exaggerating when I say these are the best pies I've ever had and I will miss this more than anything when it's time to move to the next job.

Very Rock-a-billy! Love The Vibes love the look. The pies are amazing! This is now my second time going and I don't think I can stop coming back. Yum! I recommend getting any of the fruit pies because they are really delicious and for the savory I've only had the beef onion and gruyere cheese. So good. I need to work on getting the quiches

I came with my friend and she said that Rodney was super hot. Anyway, any pie you get will be the best thing you've put in your mouth. Vegan, vegetarian and carnivores delight. It's so good, I didn't even take pictures.
