Mountain Lotus Provisions

Holy cow!!! Their in-house chef catering was amazing. They cooked a wonderful 4 course dinner for my wife's 40'th birthday. We had 14 guests. They were very professional, personal, and they served delicious food. Our chef, Rich, knows his craft and made our night special.

We used Mountain Lotus Provisions for a catering job. Booked far in advance, I checked in with them two weeks prior to event. Seems they “forgot” about us in a chef change, and scrambled at the last minute. While some things were great (service), the food was subpar and very disappointing, and expensive. Small serving, and ran out. I booked because of their reputation, but with the changes and the last minute scramble, it did not come close to expectations. I would skip them for any important, big event.

Amazing space and equally amazing healthy options and tasty food. I got the Summer Kali Bowl and it was so good! Amazing vegan options.

Oh wow! If you are visiting Lake Tahoe and aiming to eat Vegan - this is the (maybe only) place worthy of dining at. Yes, it is a food truck, but on Monday’s they have a private, multi-course, vegan supper club inside. Mountain Lotus Provisions serves a delicious dive into American fusion with their “Bun Mi Burger” a flavorful and savory American twist on the French influenced, Vietnamese classic Bahn Mi. You will get a meaty vegan patty topped with thinly sliced carrots, cucumber, jalapeños, and a secret sauce. As badge of honor for finding a hidden gem like Mountain Lotus Provisions, treat yourself to some toasted coconut ice cream (vegan) at the truck right next to this one. Seriously- vegans, go here if you’re in Truckee/Tahoe! Lastly, there is plenty of shaded seating outside, and make sure to bring wet wipes for your hands because this burger is too good it might leave your hands a mess. I love this place!
