Amazing coffee and friends, too

I’m a regular patron of the other Barrett’s location but this is one I won’t be returning to. The inside had a decent amount of seating but the bathroom faced the entire room and anytime the door opened you got hit in the face with whatever happened in there last 😭 One of the male staff was unfriendly and dismissive to multiple people (in our group and from what I heard in their interactions with others). There was contradictory closing timing online, on the door, and also told to us by employees, who seemed in a rush to get us out (we shortly saw them across the street at a bar afterwards). The food from Octavio’s was amazing!! The only saving grace aside from the large patio.

I’m so happy that Barrett’s has a location closer to me now! Love this location, the environment is so welcoming, happy hour (3-6 m-f) is great, there’s a safe bike lane to get here, and of course their coffee is amazing. They have a patio out back and outside seating in the front which was a really nice surprise.

Big yard, great drinks menu, good coffee and amazing food from Octavio's kitchen which is always fresh, hot and tasty. A small dive with a fresh personality. If you're looking for a repeat hangout spot that offers an easygoing, casual atmospehere this is the place to go.
