I’ve been here a few times now and can give my honest thoughts. The gochujang scallion bun was a standout. It had a noticeable kick from the gochujang and a savory balance from the cheese and scallions. The black velvet sesame cake was incredibly well balanced with a definite black sesame flavor. The Hotteok mochi hearts were also good, with clear cinnamon and brown sugar flavors that came through well. I would reorder any of these. The other items didn’t land the same way. The doenjang roll tasted more like a standard cinnamon bun, and the doenjang flavor didn’t really come through. The makgeoli snickerdoodle was basically a regular snickerdoodle without a distinct makgeoli note. The persimmon strawberry thumbprint cookie was disappointing because the persimmon was overpowered by the strawberry and the sugar cookie base. Since persimmon is already subtle, it might work better as the sole flavor instead of pairing it with strawberry. The goguma caramel oat latte was the biggest miss. I didn’t get any caramel or goguma flavor. It tasted more like a buttery oat latte with a slightly savory finish, and I didn’t finish it. Overall, it’s a decent experience with clear creativity behind the menu. Even though not everything worked for me, the concepts are unique and worth trying for yourself. With stronger flavor development, especially for more subtle ingredients, this place has real potential. I’d still encourage people to check it out and see what stands out to them.

Lovely matcha and bakeshop! First off, hot oat matcha is soo good. It exceeded my expectations and the baristas and staff are both friendly and helpful. This shop is tiny tho with a few bar seating. Food is served on really nice pottery which I appreciated the sea-forest theme throughout. It made photographing the bakery a breeze and delight! 🥰🪸 Now for the food… I really enjoyed the kimchi ricotta pie. The other one fell short of my expectations but I had high hopes for the gochujang cheese roll which I took home and reheated. It might be because it’s slightly pricey for the roll and the flavor which I wish I could enjoy more of. 😭😭 They do serve caphe roasters here! Overall tho, it is a beautiful spot and I’d probably give the cookies or more savory snacks a shot next time! 😋

Very nice little bakery with cozy atmosphere and super creative pastries! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Got a bunch of them as snow day treats for ourselves, and we are so happy with EVERYTHING we got! Have not tried their coffee so can not comment on it, but would def will come back and try it!!

Loved this spot!! Well balanced flavors and not overly sweet. The black velvet sesame cake and savory pocket pies were my favorites, followed by the corn thyme biscuit and Gochujang bun. The chocolate chip cookie was good not great. Friendly staff and no major line (went 9:30 on Saturday). Some outdoor seating. Will definitely be back soon

So happy with this new place in my neighborhood!! The pastries are super creative and taste amazing. As a Korean, I was a little unsure about the doenjang caramel roll since doenjang can smell pretty strong, but it was actually really mild! I could taste just a tiny bit of that savory flavor, and it worked so well. Such a clever way to use Korean pastes—I was seriously impressed!
