Crema's Take
“Tucked away in a San Antonio mall, this spot surprises visitors with genuinely delicious taro milk tea and creative specialty drinks that keep people coming back. Beyond the beverages, their poke bowls deliver impressive portions and carefully balanced flavors at prices that feel fair, all served with efficient, friendly service from an owner who clearly cares about getting orders right.”

This was a very upsetting experience. We found bugs in our drinks (see attached photo), which is completely unacceptable. The cashier was visibly annoyed while taking our order and had an attitude throughout the interaction. When we returned the drinks for a refund, she became even more annoyed instead of handling the situation professionally. Food and beverage safety should be a top priority, and customer concerns should be addressed respectfully. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made an already unacceptable situation worse. We will not be returning.
The service was professional and efficient and they answered any questions I had so I was able to easily order. They also were very friendly in disclosing the different portions for each size and confirming which I wanted to order. My mom decided to order the tuna salad onigiri (which she mentioned tasted alright but had more rice to filling ratio) and I decided to get the unagi bowl and a powerade and it was pretty enjoyable! The sauce was a little sweeter than I was expecting / used to but not overbearingly so and the portions were very filling (one bowl is great for a simple meal or sharing if you're not feeling particularly hungry). The vegetables were fresh and the bowl was prepared to order (which is nice if you enjoy watching food preparations while you wait). The drinks are self-serve after you purchase near the station where you can grab utensils for eating, which I liked since it made it easy to wait until I had my food before grabbing a cold beverage. There's limited seating in the restaurant itself, but it is located in the Ingram Park Mall so there's plenty of seating in the main dining hall (as long as it isn't super busy, usually it's still easy to find a place to sit in my experience most of the times I've gone up there). They also offer take-out and there's plenty of variety on the menu, so everyone can find something they're bound to like and there are some customization options as well. There are kid-friendly meals, but proceed with caution since a lot of options might be a little adventurous for younger children. It's a nice upbeat place to enjoy meals if you're looking to explore new flavors different from the options offered in the food court or just need a festive little treat.
I went to the mall the other day and I had no idea poke-yi was there, I never saw it and that day I was just not feeling anything else so I decided to go there. It was my first and definitely not the last experience in poke-yi, it was fantastic. The food was so so good and the staff were super helpful and welcoming. I definitely reccomend buying their caramel boba too it was so yummy!!☺️
Taro milk tea is a must-try. Poke bowls are in great value too. Taste soooooo good. The owner is nice and sweet. Love it!
Portion size on the large bowl was very good. Flavor of all the items and sauces was great. Service was fast and my order was accurate. Shrimp tempura was crispy and had good flavor. They offer a selection of bottled Coke and Ramune drinks. Also on the menu were some ramen bowls. My only criticism would be that the spicy tuna was chunks with a sauce rather than chopped and seasoned. Prices were about average compared to other Poke places. The dining area while a bit small is decorated really nice. Location is great, right at the food court door to the mall. If you park near this door it is immediately inside before you even get to the food court. I would definitely return.
