Crema's Take

Caffeina Kitchen anchors Boise's eclectic Linen District with a genuinely inviting atmosphere that keeps regulars coming back weekly, offering comfortable seating options and reliable wifi for work sessions alongside thoughtfully crafted espresso and pour overs. The shop has cultivated a warm community vibe with attentive service, though recent changes to their loyalty program have left some longtime customers wishing for the earlier experience they loved.

Love the coffe, people, service and atmosphere. So much so it is my go to spot on a weekly basis but it saddens me to see they loyalty program wrecked. The program is now cumbersome, super low return and the employees hate it too. Sadly I'll work in other places where the normal 8 to 10 drinks means a reward like bringing a new person to the place to enjoy a drink. The product and service is top notch, the rewards program is now out of sync with the rest of the experience.

This cafe is in Boise's Linen district, a block from Rediscovered Books, an art gallery, and next to a tattoo shop. The perfect place to get a bit of work done before meeting my friends to walk down to The Modern for a drink. I ordered a London Fog and it was made perfectly. I like the communal center table that let's people spread out or share space. There was several little conversations going - girl friends catching up - but the space has plenty of corner and cozy spots for private conversations. I may have found my new go to spot!

Upfront: I did not know what was here before, so I am not comparing to the previous tenant because I don't think that is fair. I love the vibe here. The seating options, the sofas, the large table, there is a seat for whatever type of mood you are in. I thought the menu was just fine. I love that they have lotus in the can that they will mix flavors in for you. I ordered the Lox bagel and it came out like a sandwich and the barista apologized but it didn't matter to me :) It still had all the. components and it tasted great. My little dude ordered a breakfast bagel and he loved it. Ate every last bite! We enjoyed the sun coming thru the big windows as we ate our breakfast on the couch. This is a special little spot. Would also be great to get some work done at.

I just stopped by to check out this local owned coffee shop in the late morning. There was two clients working on their laptops and it was pretty quiet. The lady behind the counter answered most of my questions of what she knew of the history of the business. She did not know a lot and they took over this place about 6 months ago so they are still working out the kinks. Its decor is very old style and I liked the feeling of of this establishment and hope that can keep it open.
