Crema's Take

Tucked away in Worcester, this beloved bakery and café radiates a genuine, lived-in warmth with its rustic-cozy interior and unfussy hospitality that makes everyone from antiquers to engaged couples feel instantly at home. Beyond solid coffee and tea, they've built something special by doing many things well—fresh quiches and Margherita pizzas, QR code ordering that keeps lines moving even during busy lunch rushes, and a staff that treats your visit like they're welcoming you into their own space. It's the kind of place where you settle in for breakfast or a cocktail and lose track of time, perfectly capturing that neighborhood gem feeling.

Lovely little lunch spot while antiquing in Worcester. They have great sandwiches & pizzas. Large menu of coffee & teas. Also serves cocktails. Very friendly staff & cafetera cafe type vibe. Highly recommend.

We recently hosted our engagement party at BirchTree and truly could not have imagined a better experience. My fiancé and I had been having a lot of trouble finding a venue that could host our crowd at a reasonable price, so we were beyond thrilled when Birchtree not only accommodated our 60 guests beautifully, but we actually ended up under budget. From start to finish, the service was phenomenal. The team was genuinely invested in making sure our night was perfect. They went above and beyond in every way and more than accommodated anything we needed. We had an outpouring of texts the next day from our guests. So many people let us know how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful of a time they had. The space itself truly showed a refined elegance which was the perfect kickoff to our wedding season. If you’re thinking about working with BirchTree, Jayne, Caitlin, and the entire staff we’re incredibly organized and attentive to detail, helping us set up, pack up, and even ensured all guests had clean tables, fresh drinks, and the bar staff recommended really unique cocktails & mocktails! We are so grateful to the entire BirchTree team, especially Jayne and Caitlin for helping us set the tone for our wedding. We would absolutely recommend having an event here - you will be in the best hands!

This bakery and cafe has great food and a very comfy, relaxed vibe. Even though it was busy at lunch time on a Friday, we easily got a table and food service was very fast. We ordered using the QR code at the table and that was super easy as well. Two of us split a cheese pizza with plenty leftover, along with a delicious apple cider donut. We tried the hot lavender London Fog tea (pictured) as well as an iced chai latte with brown sugar syrup, both of which were so good. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we had plenty of space and privacy and could easily carry on our conversation. We'd definitely come back.

Ufff a great place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. My friend and I went there to try the quiche and the Margherita pizza, and everything was amazing. If you want to meet someone or have a relaxed conversation, it’s the perfect spot it’s comfortable and not too noisy. About the parking you can park on the street or use the paying public market parking nearby. The staff is very friendly, and it’s also a great place to bring your family for breakfast or lunch. There are many great options on the menu. I totally recommend it

We went to Birch Tree in Worcester and totally loved the vibe! The rustic, cozy interior is super cool – it feels like one of those hidden gems you’d see in a movie. The menu had so many fun options, it was hard to choose. My mum had the coffee and absolutely loved it – strong, smooth, and perfectly made. I had the lemonade, and it was super refreshing with just the right amount of zing. The feta and olive toast was fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect salty bite. The pizzas were seriously delicious – thin crust, cheesy, and full of flavor. Everything looked so pretty, we had to snap some pics before digging in. It’s the kind of place where you want to chill and stay for a while.
