Crema's Take
“If you're after a genuinely good breakfast spot with made-to-order omelets loaded with fresh vegetables and inventive soups like pumpkin Gouda, Alley Cat delivers the kind of home-cooked quality that keeps people coming back. The staff is warm and unhurried, and the 4.8 rating reflects real consistency—though fair warning that portions on sandwiches can be skimpy and prices run a bit high for what you get. Go for the eggs and seasonal specials, not the turkey sandwich.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast on the menu. Family friendly.

Very friendly people & the food is good. The pumpkin Gouda soup was unique. I was excited to try the turkey sandwich but I wouldn’t get it again. I wish the turkey sandwich had more turkey, avocado, or any of the other ingredients but every bites main flavor was cheese.
Great breakfast place. The omelets were hot & delicious, made with fresh vegetables! Friendly atmosphere.
This place is a hidden gem for breakfast in Middletown! It's a small cafe with the atmosphere to match. The food was so good it easily overmatches the bigger breakfast shops. The atmosphere and patrons are all so friendly. Make this you new favorite spot!
Felt like home here, friendly laid back staff. However the food was under whelming especially for the price. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted very milky with hardly any cheddar and it was $3.99. I may be back to try the desserts but definitely not for the food.
