Crema's Take
“Three Little Birds Cafe in Spokane Valley has earned its stellar 4.9 rating by mastering the art of bold, flavorful global cuisine with impeccable balance—think rich Ethiopian sambusas and butter chicken that arrive in generous portions with thoughtful seasoning. The owner-driven energy here creates a genuinely warm experience, and while it's drive-up only, the personal service and standout sides (that mysteriously perfect sauce) make it worth the stop for anyone craving food that tastes like it was made with real care.”

The food is amazing! I have tried about 1/3 of the menu and I’m always thinking of when I can go back. The flavors are rich, well balanced, and portions are perfect. Not the mention the thought that went into creating this menu to be delicious and affordable. If you’re trying to branch out or find a familiar favorite- please try this cafe! You can tell the owners work hard and care just as much.
What a lovely spot! I got the veggie combo and my husband got the Three Little Birds combo, and we shared the seasoned fries with the best sauce I've ever had 🤤 kind of reminded me of honey mustard, sweet but so good!! The owner was incredibly kind and passionate and enthusiastic, the price was great, and the food was delicious. We felt the flavors could be heightened a bit, but were overall really satisfied and can't wait to come back! I look forward to trying their coffee drinks, next time ☺️
Drive-up only. No on sight seating. Service was personal and friendly. Food was delicious. I got the Ethio- sampler in order to try a number of their top dishes. It was all very good, but also very similar in flavor profile.
My wife and I ordered the Duro West and seasoned fries. Large portions and well seasoned. The owner is awesome. Limited ol hours as it's new. We need more ethnic restaurants.
I ordered the butter chicken. Absolutely delicious and service was quick and friendly. Only downside was the price (approx $15 with tip) for the amount of food (I would have preferred to have more). Check this little place out!
