Mill Mountain Coffee And Tea

I have two complaints that just baffle me. 1. The espresso is bitter, and harsh. I would expect this at S’bucks, where most people are getting glorified milkshakes. But I wouldn’t expect it from the local boutique roaster. Wouldn’t they want to showcase the quality of a well roasted bean? 2. There are grounds in my shots. I don’t even know how this is possible with espresso. It’s as if they’re making it with a French press. This has happened multiple times at multiple Mill Mtn locations. I now think of the chunks in my final sip as their signature.

Amazing staff! I have been coming here every few years when I pass through the area. The atmosphere hasn't changed much, but the staff seemed to be much more engaged and pleasant. I think the management has changed and it is definitely felt. I think the coffee has improved, as well

I’ve only been here a few times, but my daughter has frequented this shop for the last few years. The coffee is delicious and service is reasonably quick. I got their special of the day (S’mores Mocha) this morning and it was fantastic. The seating areas (indoor and outdoor) have a cool vibe thanks to the location and decor. I always enjoy coming here when I visit.

It’s always a pretty nice experience. I usually come to study and have lunch, their coffees and matcha tea is really good. Today I got a BLT Sandwich and Lemonade. The size of the sandwich is pretty good for the prize and it comes with chips, very delicious!! And their lemonade is freshly squeezed and they give you the option to make it with sparkling water which I enjoy. It was really refreshing for a hot day. I would recommend coming here if you are looking for a place to chill and eat well for a good price.

Great coffee shop. Has lots of fresh pastries and made to order sandwiches. My friends loved their coffee and we could see the beans being processed right in the open. Best scone I have ever had. Worth the visit while in Blacksburg.
