Tlacualli Breakfast
1637 Broadway, New York, NY
Crema's Take
“Tlacualli Breakfast is a modern take on traditional Mexican breakfast that feels both trendy and genuinely welcoming, where you'll find standout dishes like chilaquiles and huevos rancheros that locals swear are among the best in the city. Beyond the exceptional food, their specialty coffee and fresh juices pair beautifully with breakfast, and the warm, attentive service makes it feel like a neighborhood gathering spot rather than just another brunch destination. It's the kind of place where you can linger over coffee with friends or family and leave completely satisfied.”

Food here is amazing!!! Got the Colombian Calentado and the Enchiladas de Mole and both were incredible. Rice and beans wee perfectly flavored. Eggs, Pork, and chorizo so delicious. Highly recommend!!!
Very traditional breakfast in a modern and trendy environment. Service was very nice. Some unique juices and other items on menu. It's not fancy food but will fill you up and get u going.
I absolutely love this place! I’ve been a few times now. The food is delicious, the staff is attentive and kind. The huevos rancheros is my go-to, it’s probably the best in Brooklyn. The shrimp quesadilla was also really good. And for dessert, churros with Mexican coffee. I haven’t had a meal I wasn’t satisfied with here. I’m grateful to have Tlacualli in the neighborhood. It’s become my new wfh spot offering good food, WiFi and free coffee refills.
Tlacualli Breafkast has the best chilaquiles I’ve had in NYC!! The portion is also very giant. Also really enjoyed the churros/coffee, love how the churros/coffee are not overly sweet, very suitable for my taste buds. This spot is a must visit! The atmosphere is also super cozy, love the wooden interior design. Highly highly recommend!
We visited this restaurant as a group of four, and we absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, and the service was incredibly friendly — you can really feel the warm, homey atmosphere. Even though there was a small mix-up with our order, we left more than happy. The waitress’s smile and the complimentary churros more than made up for the wait for the shrimp quesadilla. Highly recommended!
