Crema's Take

This Lakewood gem transforms vegan baking into genuine artistry, crafting donuts so inventive and delicious that even non-vegans drive hours out of their way. The flavor combinations—think strawberry cream and lemon lavender—are thoughtfully composed rather than gimmicky, arriving fresh and impossibly fluffy with designs as beautiful as they taste. It's the kind of small-scale, passionate operation where reasonable prices and genuine friendliness make you feel like you're supporting something special, not just grabbing a pastry.

Amazing donuts! I’m not vegan but these are some of the best donuts I’ve ever had. The flavors are creative and well thought out, and the designs are beautiful. I love the strawberry cream. Note that this is a carry out place with no space to eat in. They update their availability on their Instagram.

Drove 2.5 hours just for these doughnuts! Best vegan doughnuts and closest to the dairy version that you will ever get in the area. They are so fluffy and fresh, but the variety of creations and love in each one is what makes this shop special!

The taste was really good! The combination of creams and flavors in donuts are just wow! A creative small scale business! I totally support! Prices are so reasonable too... All in all, it's totally worth it!

Phenomenal vegan donuts. Such creative flavors. Everyone is super friendly. Suggest checking hours before going as they open later than posted some times.

As far as donuts go, these were pretty good, be they vegan or otherwise. The flavors were all unusual and creative, and tasted exactly as advertised. That said, the lemon/lavender and blueberry donuts were better than the chocolate donuts (which were lacking in deep, chocolatey flavor). Also, the texture of the donuts was a bit unusual - they were both dense and chewy, and had a lot more gluten development than I’m used to in a donut. Nonetheless, I would probably come back to try the rest of the flavors!
