“This San Jose spot has earned serious devotion from coffee enthusiasts with their espresso-forward approach and thoughtfully crafted specialty drinks, including house-made syrups and creative seasonal lattes that keep people coming back week after week. The team clearly knows their craft, pulling rich, smooth shots that appeal to both casual coffee lovers and home brewing aficionados alike. First time at Coffee & Water Lab and I plan on returning! Best craft coffee! I travel quite a bit and look for the best coffee shops. My criteria includes coffee bean quality, house made syrups, alternative milks and quality made product. Coffee & Water Lab hit the mark! Parking was challenging but worth the walk from the neighborhood to drink this delicious cup of coffee. As a bonus employees allowed plenty of questions on my end and offered a tasting of a couple of syrups in a mini cup before I made decision. 5/5 costumer service!
Coffee & Water Lab has amazing coffee, a wonderful staff, and a great vibe. I consider myself pretty serious about my coffee (I'm an Aeropress guy at home). Coffee & Water lab has great coffee; I really love their pour overs. The beans are roasted onsite, and they have a wonderful selection of regular roasts, plus a special rotating roast every month. I've been coming here a couple times a week for several months now, and that staff is outstanding and friendly. Special shout out to Paul, Lutrim, and Luis, who always provide great service, and greet me by name. Inside is a quiet, relaxed space to work or study, with a wonderful mix of friendly newcomers and regulars. I can't recommend this place enough.
Love the lattes here, very rich and smooth. Low acidity, full-bodied. Also love that they have decaf options. Been here 2 weekends in a row. Seating: Overly crowded… barely any space between each table. People love to bring laptops here. Outdoor seating: Has a few but facing the parking lot.
We got a couple of seasonal flavored lattes, and they were both really delicious and flavorful. The parking lot was a nightmare, but that has more to do with the whole shopping complex than this coffee shop. Other than that, the experience was nice!
I came in for a quick bite to eat before an appointment close by. I felt overwhelmed by how narrow and tiny the space was. I was trying to determine who was in line and who wasn't. The cashier was friendly and polite. Took my order promptly. I should of asked how big the Chinese sausage wrap was, because I wouldn't have bought it if I had known. For the price of $8 plus tax it wasn't up to par. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Definitely not $8 worth of food. The wrap was the size of my hand and I have child size hands. Wrap was mostly tortilla with very little fillings. Very bland. The only flavorful thing was the 2-3 tiny pieces of Chinese sausage and the light drizzle of Sriracha. I didn't buy any coffee so no comment on that, but if you want food go somewhere else.
