The industrial-boho vibe and genuinely attentive staff make it feel less like a caffeine pit stop and more like a destination meal, though the inconsistency (some dishes hit harder than others) keeps it from being flawless. If you're in the U District and willing to plan ahead, the breakfast and pastries are worth the extra effort.”

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

At first I was a little put off by the need to have a reservation at a cafe for breakfast. Then WOW now I understand. The atmosphere is a mix between industrial and boho. The staff is friendly and fast. The food is outstanding.
