Crema's Take

Bubbles & Delights Café is a hidden gem in Petaluma that absolutely nails both traditional comfort food and authentic international breakfast dishes, with regulars raving about their French toast, chilaquiles rojos, and loco moco as some of the best they've had anywhere. The casual, unhurried atmosphere makes it perfect for lingering over breakfast with family or friends, and despite its unassuming location in a former pizza spot, the quality of ingredients and care in execution consistently exceeds expectations. Whether you're craving a classic BLT or adventurous seasonal plates, the food and service here feel genuinely five-star.

Delicious and fresh food/drinks. We ordered the French toast, lolita salmon eggs Benedict, waffles, and the crab seasonal Italian omelet. French toast was 10/10. Omelet was 8/10, was missing a little bit of salt and flavor, could've used a little salsa or sauce. Eggs Benedict 8/10: the hollandaise was made with champagne which is personally not my favorite. The orange juice was fresh and the atmosphere was so nice. Prime example of dont judge a book by its cover. Outside of the place and the overall plaza didnt look super inviting but the moment you step in, its like you are in a 5 star resort. A bit pricey overall, expect to pay around $100 depending on how many people you come with and how much you order. Overall I would come back, the server lady was super nice and accommodating.

We were skeptical at first, because of the location, but the food, the service and the vibes were all five star. Really good authentic Mexican breakfast dish that we haven’t tried before, we split it and we’re still full. They even brought out some of their fresh baked bread on the house. Drinks were good, and the fried plantains were a treat!

I took my family to have lunch on the weekend. We order BLT sandwiches and we order hamburgers and french fries. It was not busy. There were maybe three other families there. It took a little bit for the sandwiches and the hamburger to be done. I was looking for horchata since it's a Mexican restaurant. I was surprised the only thing they had was soda and alcohol to drink. I don't drink and I don't drink sodas either. My BLT sandwich is what's okay bacon, lettuce and tomato. My husband and my daughter's had hamburgers with french fries. The atmosphere was a little bit too busy. I think what made it worse is the floors. Too colorful. I guess the reason they had it that way is to cover when the floors are dirty. We were told that they will have More choices for drinks and food later and they will stay open longer hours. Not just breakfast and lunch. After we left I told my husband the BLT sandwich was ok. But again, it's only bacon, lettuce and tomato. Later on that evening we all got sick 🤒. And that was the only thing that we ate. I was still hot upset stomach. The next day my husband 's symptoms lasted for 2 days.

Exquisite chilaquiles rojos with a perfectly cooked side of steak, and the fried plantain for dessert was the cherry on top. Truly the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Highly recommended! 🥩🌶️🍌

Wonderful new location in Petaluma in the old Mary’s Pizza Shack in Washington street!! Went in yesterday for breakfast and had one of the best loco mocos I have ever had in my life! And I’ve been to Hawaii a lot as a diver and underwater photographer. One of the owners came out to speak with me and told me the beef patty was made in house with chopped steak instead of ground beef and you can certainly tell! It had a chew like a steak would and not a crumbly texture like ground beef would. I love the simple yet diverse menu. California. Mexico, Hawaii, the south…all here. I WILL be back!!!
