Stopped by Fla. Juice & Bowl and had a great experience. The espresso was excellent — smooth, rich, and perfectly made. I also tried the Açaí Energy smoothie (açaí with guaraná, coconut, pineapple, and banana), and it was delicious, refreshing, and energizing without being overly sweet. They offer plenty of healthy options, including açaí bowls, pitaya bowls, smoothies, fresh juices, poke bowls, and vegan choices, so it’s easy to find something nutritious and satisfying whether you want something light or more filling. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and has a relaxed, modern vibe. There’s plenty of seating inside and outside, plus a great location with ample parking, which makes it super convenient. The two girls working this morning were especially nice and friendly, which made the visit even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to for coffee or something healthy on the go. 🌿
This was my first time going to this restaurant. I ordered a bowl for me and a smoothie for my toddler. When I paid with apple pay, the cashier said that it did not go through. I did not see anything on the keypad that said otherwise. On my phone it said it went through. I called the credit card company and they said the transaction went through. The cashier and the manager on duty both insisted the charge went through… and shrugged that sometimes it happened. I showed them the charge on my phone. And nothing. They did not propose any other solutions than me running my card again. I did not feel comfortable with that because I did not want to be fraudulently charged twice. My toddler started fussing and crying. They proposed nothing. I was considering changing my order to just get a smoothie to pacify him. But their staff had walked away from the counter. I left. Maybe they don’t like crying babies or have any clue how to help a mom get a snack for a baby before naptime. I have never had a retailer claim that my card was NOT charged when it infact was. I will not be going back there. If it was my business, I would have wanted to provide the food regardless. That would have made a return costumer out of me. But I won’t be back.
Fantastic smoothies and bowls, Poke too. It does take time to make your order so be ready, or if you are in a hurry pre order. Nice seating inside and out.
Excellent food! I love it here. Very very clean inside and tons of parking outside. You can dine in or take out and they even have a little section where you can post up and work. Very reasonable prices. Sake in cans and on tap! Their food is so so good will def be back!
It pains me to leave a less than 5 star review of a place I once Raved about and continuously shared on social media. My experience here yesterday was terrible. 30 minute wait for 1 açaí bowl. There were 4 girls behind the counter, and the shop was not busy when I ordered - only a couple of customers. After ordering, a few customers came in to order after me. 15-20 minutes go by, no update or sign of the açaí bowl even being started. After 20-25 mins; the customer who ordered maybe 5 mins before me seemed a little irate and told the girls behind the counter he’ll take whatever they have of his order as is. Seems like I wasn’t the only one who had slow/poor service and lack of communication on Fl juice & bowl’s end. If I knew ahead of time that there was a 30 min wait while ordering at the counter, I would have just grabbed the pre made juices and skipped ordering a fruit bowl all together. I had a clients pet’s on stand by waiting for me to get to Jax beach to tend to their needs. This 30 min set back had me worried that one of the animals I was caring for might have an accident in the house while waiting for me (plus the owners of these pets have cameras all over their house- they know what time I come and go) I can understand being slightly delayed with an order maybe 5-15 mins behind if proper communication has been displayed the entire time; but thirty minutes for one fruit bowl? Hell nothing even needs to be cooked for an order like that. I definitely saw 2 or 3 of the 4 girls just standing there behind the counter, wondering what to do while more orders were coming thru on the ticket counter. Seeing this while more orders needed to be made stressed me out for them. New employees?, the irate customer in front of me?, I don’t know what the thirty minute hold up was but I do remember coming in here early 2023 and my one acai bowl taking a very long time to receive as well (not thirty minutes, but too long for one order). This visit yesterday - once at my destination, I also noticed I had a huge chunk of frozen acai or ice right in the middle of my bowl that was not blended what so ever. The pressed juices were good. Everything photographed so well too. The fruit used was fresh. This could have been just a bad day for the shop. Given my last couple of visits here, I probably won’t be stopping in this San Marco location any time soon
