Crema's Take

This beloved Park Hills neighborhood spot opens early and welcomes you in for a slow, lingering coffee experience with surprisingly solid espresso drinks and genuinely impressive homemade pastries like their standout muffins and blueberry scones. The vibe is decidedly local and lived-in—a place where regulars gather for full breakfasts and build-your-own sandwiches alongside carefully crafted cold brews and specialty drinks, though it's worth noting that cleanliness and consistency seem to fluctuate depending on when you visit.

Place was so filthy, nasty! Espresso tasted like basic drip coffee. Was mid at best. I don't understand the reviews. If you walk in, look at the ground and head to the bathroom before you order and you can decide for yourself.

I want to start by saying I love this place. The drinks and food, especially the muffins, are amazing. I’m worried about them since Dunkin went in up the street. Perhaps they should simplify their sandwich menu to 2 or 3 items so they can make the sandwiches fast and not have to keep excess ingredients on hand. I want to start by saying I really love this place — the food and drinks are consistently great, and the muffins are especially amazing. I truly want to see them succeed, especially now that Dunkin’ has opened just up the street. One suggestion might be to simplify the sandwich menu to just a few core items so they can focus on speed and freshness without having to keep too many ingredients on hand. I also think the space could benefit from a good deep clean and a bit of attention to detail — the floors, tables, and doors could use some extra care, and there’s still some old tape from past flyers around. A little refresh would really make the shop feel as special as the food and drinks already are.

Staff was friendly. Had a mix up and didn’t get my whole order. Vanilla Latte was super sweet. Almost like it didn’t have a shot of espresso in it. Interior was somewhat dated. Seemed to be a fair amount of people there going in and out. This would not be my first choice local coffee shop.

This place is great! Amazing food and service. The mango smoothie is wonderful and we had two build your own sandwiches. Plus chips ☺️ great spot highly recommend for breakfast and lunch.
