Satchmo's Jazz Cafe

My family's all White Party was held at this wonderful establishment. We had a blast listening to the wonderful sounds of The Mr. Charles Carter, who wowed us with his smooth sounds of Jazz and R&B...what a treat! What a way to end an amazing family reunion...many thanks to the owner that allowed us to party until our feet hurt...lol...and his amazing bartender!

Aftet reading reviews I was so excited to take my wife for a great date night and dance the night away. Loved the place but the band on father's day was not so great. We were not able to dance or even stay for the night. Maybe on another trip we can catch a 5 🌟 night.

This place is amazing and is a great place to get some nice entertainment. Food is always good. The atmosphere is so wonderful and I would highly recommend it for date night. Whether you like dancing or just sitting while chatting and having a meal and/or drinks, you will love this place.💃🏽🕺🏾💃🏽🕺🏾😀

Amazing! The building itself if gorgeous. The music was great and the blackened grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and sauteed corn were out of this world!

Today, 12.23.2018, was my first experience eating at Satchmo's in D'Iberville. There is an 18 step brick staircase to the entrance so be ready to climb or there is access via a man-lift on the east side of the building. (see pictures) The area around the building is tended to quite well, and the atmosphere inside is simple and tastefully done. I ordered a bloody mary, the catfish and grits plate with bacon on the side. I was very pleased with my choice of drink and food. The grits were not the 'cheap style' of grits and the catfish was cooked to absolute perfection. I will make a point to come and try and evening of jazz at this beautiful establishment.
