Miss Melbourne Coffee

Looking for a Melbourne style coffee, that tastes like home? I've been in the States for a few days, and was hankering for an Australian/Melbourne style cappucino. Jumped two buses, was greeted with a jar of Tim Tams and thought "I'm on here". That's where the excitement ended. The coffee was scalding hot, heavy with water, and the beans burnt. I want to be clear - I'm not knocking anyone here. I think the coffee is probably allright by local US standards. But, if you're an aussie looking for a Melbourne-style coffee... Look elsewhere. Mad Lab would be the pick.

Miss Melbourne Coffee is a great spot for proper Aussie comfort food in LA. Their meat pies, sausage rolls, and classic Australian baked staples are spot on. The flavors are authentic and clearly made with care, especially if you’re craving something that feels genuinely Australian. The only reason for dropping a star is the pricing and the limited range of options. While the quality is solid, the menu is on the smaller side and the cost can feel a bit high. That said, it’s still absolutely worth a visit if you’re missing real Aussie pies in Los Angeles.

Such a cute little breakfast spot with delicious food and great prices. The coffee was a bit strong and bitter for me but that’s Aussie coffee so no real complaints! Will continue coming back as long as they’re here.

Stopped by for a weekend brekkie look and loved the Aussie treats! Enjoyed a flat white, meat pie and lamington while reading a book indoors. They ah e outdoor seating too and a fairly large menu for a coffee shop. Need to go back for more pies!

Whether you’re a local or just finishing a grocery run, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Great coffee, great people, and a warm atmosphere that keeps you coming back.
