Crema's Take
“This beloved Palm Springs Italian deli punches above its weight with creative coffee drinks like their standout pistachio lattes alongside genuinely excellent Italian fare—think porchetta paninis and tiramisu lattes that justify the perfect 5-star rating. It's the kind of convenient neighborhood gem where you can grab a quick pastry and espresso or linger over carefully made specialty drinks in a warmly decorated space that feels both authentic and welcoming. Whether you're stopping by for a ham croissant or discovering their signature creative coffees, the friendly service and honest prices make it feel like a discovery worth sharing.”

The food is fantastic I get the ham with croissant Flavor is great and the desserts are even better.
We stopped by yesterday and were blown away by the delicious looking food! We only got drinks as we were in a hurry and just stopped by to look. But the pistachio coffees we ordered were superb!! We can't wait to go back and try the food & desserts!
Amazing spot! The food and service were all great, not to mention it’s in a convenient location. We had the porchetta and chicken milanese paninis (not pictured), tiramisu latte, and a couple of pastries. Everything was amazing and I’m excited to try other items on the menu.
Everything was fantastic. Food, service, decor. All 10/10. Everyone was super friendly and the food was amazing. Especially for the price!
Claudio’s Italian Deli is a fantastic new addition to Palm Desert. If you live or work nearby, this is one of those spots you might drive past without realizing what you’re missing. It’s tucked next to the Renova building at Cook and Hovley. Claudio’s is the from the chef and part owner of Il Corso in Palm Desert and Palm Springs — a restaurant we’ve loved for years and still consider home to the best lasagna in the desert. This deli isn’t trying to be a full restaurant, but it absolutely delivers on quality. Perfect for lunch, takeout, or a quick bite that feels like a treat instead of a compromise. Heads up: there's only two tables inside so if it's a beautiful day, there's a good amount of outdoor seating, but not much when it comes to in-doors. Based on the location and their hours (closed weekends), I'm assuming they're catering to the working crowd of Palm Desert. We’ll definitely be back.
