Westy's Cafe

Crema's Take
“Westy's Cafe is a beloved neighborhood gathering spot that feels like stepping into someone's home kitchen, where the staff treats regulars like family and the homestyle cooking—think fluffy pancakes, perfectly portioned chicken fried steak, and buttery biscuits—actually lives up to the hype. The old-school charm and casual atmosphere make it equally perfect for a quick coffee grab or lingering over breakfast with friends, and folks genuinely can't stop raving about both the food and the genuine warmth of every person working there.”

Everything to love about this place. The food is home cooking. Flavorful and portioned perfectly. The service is by far the best. We love EVERY SINGLE person that works there. We even find ourselves making friends with fellow guests every time we're there. If we could we'd be there 5 times a week if not more.
If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, give this place a try! Don’t let the old-school décor fool you — the food is absolutely worth it. I had the chicken fried steak with eggs, hash browns (one of the Westy’s specialties — Mexican Breakfast delicious!), and a huge pancake on the side. They’ve been around since 1984 for a reason! The staff is friendly and knows all the locals. Nobody leaves here unsatisfied.
Tucked away on a quiet corner of town, Westy’s Cafe is the kind of place that instantly wraps you in warmth the moment you step inside, this charming little spot isn’t just a diner — it’s a slice of home. What truly sets Westy’s Cafe apart is the people. You’re not just a customer here — you’re a guest. I picked up that they call everyone by name, greet patrons with genuine smiles and a level of hospitality that’s hard to find these days. The food? Classic, hearty, and made from scratch. The buttermilk pancakes are fluffy perfection, the burgers juicy and flavorful, and don’t even get me started on the dinner stake — it’s the kind of dish that brings back memories you didn’t even know you had. Portions are generous, prices are more than fair, and every bite tastes like it was made with care. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick breakfast, a long lunch with family, or just a slice of homemade pie and coffee. Foreskin Franny approved
Small local diner that has a solid fan base. We had to try a little bit of everything and nothing disappointed. Their pancakes were good sized and fluffy. French toast was really good and the biscuits and gravy were great Staff was amazing. Had a number of different people check on us, so if you need anything they will ask before you do Drove right by the place so I had to turn around to get there. So glad we did! Go check them out!
We had a fantastic breakfast here. I drove in from Wisconsin for an event this evening and wanted some GOOD breakfast. Westy's had some raving reviews, and I see why. The food was fairly priced and delicious, and the staff was extremely welcoming. The atmosphere reminded me of those old American movie diners, all the regulars are known by name, all customers are treated like family, and food is made promptly. You can tell that the culture of this business is A1, and they care about their customers. Highly recommend people visit this little gem!
