Based on reviews, we visited this establishment yesterday at 6:40pm. To be clear, it wasn’t busy, yet we waited 5 minutes to sit and at least 10 before a server appeared. We ordered a beer, wine, and water to start. She brought the drinks. We ordered our meals; Cobb salad with grilled chicken, side Caesar salad and fish tacos. Again, we waited. By this time, 7:15 ish, the bar cleared out and there were five tables. Our food arrived. I walked over to the server to ask for waters. The grilled chicken on the salad was cold, tomatoes were mushy and the green were definitely a few days old. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and the tacos were fair at best. All in all, it was pretty awful; however we’d been traveling all day and were starving. I don’t suggest this establishment.
My lady and I had an incredible first experience at Lake House Bar & Grill, and we’ll absolutely be back. From the moment you walk through the gates, it feels like you’ve stepped into a completely different world. The atmosphere is chill, relaxed, and welcoming. We were first greeted by a really cool antique-style bar with a cozy lounge area, but the real beauty is tucked inside by the water. The waterfront setting creates the perfect escape. The appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell care goes into the food. The happy hour specials on both food and drinks are a huge win. A special shoutout to our server, Joe. He was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable with the menu, especially when it came to my allergy restrictions. That level of attentiveness makes all the difference and truly elevated our experience. Great vibes, great food, great service, and great value. We’ll definitely be returning. We found this little gem by the lake and are so glad we decided to stop in. The service, food, and ambiance were all absolutely wonderful. We happened to visit during happy hour, which made it even better — food was 50% off and drinks were discounted. Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the Mediterranean Platter and the Conch Fritters, and both were delicious. A fun touch is the little “bar truck” by the entrance where you can grab a drink before heading into the restaurant. One opportunity for improvement would be offering alternative preparation options for some dishes. Many of the sides and appetizers are fried in peanut oil, which made it a bit challenging for us due to a peanut allergy. That said, our server Joe was fantastic — extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and very helpful in guiding us toward safe options. We truly appreciated his care and attention. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite and a drink with a beautiful view 😍🍸 We share more from our visit on Instagram @DanAndMilyAtTheTable
I've been coming to Lakehouse for well over 10 years. I'm a full-time resident and Naples native, and I've introduced countless friends and even clients to this place over the years. It has always been one of my go-to weekend spots and a reliable staple on a beautiful Florida afternoon. Unfortunately, today felt noticeably different. We typically sit at the bar, and the usual bar staff was nowhere to be seen. The bartender who waited on us lacked attentiveness and personality, and the overall experience felt off from the start. My order came out in the manner I specifically requested it not come out as, and when I asked for the crème fraîche/sour cream and jalapeños that the menu clearly lists as included, the response felt almost irritated as though I was asking for something unreasonable. Beyond the service, the food quality seems to have declined compared to years past. The onion rings were still solid, but everything else felt underwhelming, dry, and not flavorful, especially considering the noticeable increase in menu prices. It's disappointing. This has been a tried-and-true local favorite for a long time, and I've genuinely enjoyed recommending it. I hope they find their footing again, but for now, I'll be taking a break.
Awesome outdoor seating in the shade , but you feel the breeze! It recommends this place if you're looking for laid back outdoor vibe!
