Crema's Take

Grace Coffee in McFarland strikes that sweet spot between serious coffee destination and welcoming community hub, with genuinely sweet staff and a notably cute, clean space that locals keep coming back to. The free coffee refills and dog-friendly policy make it ideal for lingering over work or meeting friends, though the food execution can be inconsistent—the quinoa bowls and pastries shine, but the bagel sandwiches miss the mark. It's the kind of place where you'll find families with kids, remote workers with laptops, and regularity-seeking coffee enthusiasts all coexisting comfortably, even if the kitchen occasionally needs to catch up with the cafe's warm hospitality.

What to expect

Specialty coffee. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Dog friendly. Family friendly.

Had a fantastic Quinoa bowl there today! Good coffee, although it should be hotter. Nice staff but had to wait a long time to get a fork as they were out (I wanted a real one, not plastic). Napkins were empty. But, all in all a great stop!
