My wife and I went here with my parents who live nearby. We'd been here once before, and I know we'll keep going back when we visit Cincinnati. I had the cortado before, because cortados are delicious. This time I had drip coffee and the overnight oats, which were super good. It was the day after Christmas and very mellow inside. The staff are really nice and friendly. We found a cozy booth to sit in and spent about 30-40 minutes there. Highly recommended!
Drinks were good. Quite a variety to choose from. The story and illustrations on the cocktail menu is a nice touch. Atmosphere is minimal and modern. Service was good and waitress was helpful. [Didn't try the food, but sounds good*] The Trailer Runner - Front Left Room Serice - Back in the middle Curry Leaf Gimlet - Right Went on 12/17/25 to see the final Jazz performance. Drinks were great and show was great. Knew I was in good hands when the bartender had on "The Cure" T-shirt. This place will be missed. There aren't any bars for weird eclectic people like me. I don't know where else you can get a smorgasbord of ingredients within one cocktail like this. A bar for people that are only open minded.
My partner and I got the pumpkin spice latte and miso caramel latte. Pumpkin spice - The spices were very fresh and you could actually taste them. If you like pumpkin spice and not just sweet this is for you. Miso caramel - The hint of orange on top of the steamed milk made for a wonderful experience. Both lattes had well steamed milk and miso and the espresso was bright without being acidic. Clearly a great barista behind the bar. The service was quick and the interior is lovely. The giant front windows let in a lot of light and there were a good mix of people doing work, hanging out, and talking.
Fun place. Relaxed. Good coffee. Interesting drinks and wine, including non alcoholic drinks (thank you!). Dumplings for food. Friendly, smart staff. Never loud. We'll be back often. We'll bring our friends!
Loved the decor and ambiance. I enjoyed both of my cocktails and the stories they have to accompany the cocktail menu are very charming. The server was really friendly and helpful at first. Unfortunately, the service went from great at the beginning of the evening to pretty much non-existent when it got busier. I ended up having to go find our server to ask for the check after 45 minutes of not seeing them. They are still relatively new though so hopefully this is something that will get better with time. I will definitely be back to try out the coffee during the day!
